Although it seems like a cozy and authentic village, Delden is a city with city rights.
Delden is known for its various historic and monumental buildings, galleries and museums. There is a diverse selection of shops, including art and antique shops. Gift and clothing stores as well as delicatessen and specialty stores. Recently, Delden was voted the cleanest shopping city in the Netherlands.
Museum No Hero
is an art museum for fine arts in Delden. No Hero offers changing exhibitions and various activities. The museum is located in a beautiful historic building surrounded by a beautiful garden.

Twickel Castle
The town has a beautiful centre and the green woodland area is very suitable for cycling, with Twickel Castle with its estate and castle gardens being particularly highlighted.
Twickel Castle Gardens
Twickel is known for its gardens and park. The castle gardens can be visited for a fee, and the vegetable gardens can be visited on Wednesdays and Fridays during the summer months.
Noordmolen
The Noordmolen on the Twickel estate is over 650 years old. The Noordmolen is a water mill and is used to press oil from rapeseed and linseed. This is done in three rounds. In 2017, the old miller’s trade was recognized by UNESCO as a Cultural Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Salt Museum
The Salt Museum tells the story of salt, which was found in 1886 in the ground of the gardens near Twickel and is part of world history. The museum in Delden reports on salt production, chemistry and the symbolism of salt.

Regional market
Every first Saturday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a regional market takes place in the Oude Blasiuskerk in the centre of Delden. The place gives the atmosphere of a French or Spanish city with real local products.
Swimming pool de Mors
In the heated outdoor pool slide, high and low diving board, the large climbing frame, various spray animals, a large play and sun meadow and more. Various benches and parasols have been installed around the pools.
